Game Description

Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder is a beat 'em up game released by SEGA for arcade machines in 1992. It is a sequel to the iconic "Golden Axe" series offering an exciting adventure in a fantasy world, where players fight against the forces of evil and aim to defeat the evil Death Adder.

Plot

The game's action takes place in a fantastical world, where the player embodies one of the heroes who set out on a quest to stop Death Adder. During the journey, they must defeat hordes of enemies, drive away powerful beasts, and ultimately confront Death Adder to restore peace to the land of Yuria.

Gameplay

Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder offers classic beat 'em up gameplay, where players choose one of several heroes, each with unique skills and abilities. During the game, players fight against various enemies using weapons, magic, and combat skills, traversing through diverse locations.

In the game, there are four playable characters to choose from: Goah the giant, Stern Blade the barbarian, Dora the Kentauride, and Little Trix, a young elf who wields pitchforks. None of the characters from the first game are playable. The main enemy is once again Death Adder. Many players could cooperate to perform team attacks. Depending on the arcade machine, the game allowed for two, three, or four simultaneous players.

There is a certain degree of non-linearity, at several points you can choose which stage will be next.
