Game Description

Metal Slug is a run and gun arcade game created by SNK. It debuted in arcades in 1996, gaining immense popularity thanks to its dynamic action, beautiful hand-drawn animation of characters and vehicles, and incredibly intense gameplay. The game is the first installment of the legendary "Metal Slug" series.

Game Plot

The action of Metal Slug takes place in 2028, when the sinister General Morden prepares for world conquest. Not only has he managed to amass a sizable army, but he has also recently acquired a futuristic tank, the titular Metal Slug. The task of stopping Morden from carrying out his nefarious plan falls on the shoulders of Captain Marco Rossi and Colonel Tarma Roving of the Peregrine Falcon Strike Force. The protagonists must locate Morden's base and level it to the ground, as well as destroy all Metal Slugs they encounter along the way.
