Description of Balloon Fight game

Players soar into the air and attempt to pop their opponents' balloons before their own are popped.

Gameplay

The player controls an unnamed Balloon Fighter with two balloons tethered to their helmet. Repeatedly pressing the A button or holding the B button causes the Balloon Fighter to flap their arms and rise into the air. If a balloon is popped, the player's lifting power decreases, making it more difficult to ascend. Lives are lost if both balloons are popped by enemy Balloon Fighters, if the player falls into the water and is eaten by a large piranha near the water's surface, or if the player is struck by lightning.

There are two game modes: 1-player/2-player game, where the goal is to clear the screen of enemies, and Balloon Trip, where the goal is to avoid obstacles on a horizontally scrolling stage. The original arcade game did not include Balloon Trip, but all level layouts are completely different to accommodate vertical scrolling and several minor gameplay differences.

1-player/2-player game: Defeat all enemies on the screen to advance to the next stage. This mode can be played solo or cooperatively with a second player. Each player starts with three extra lives.

Balloon Fight - any hot air balloon enthusiast looking to practice their flying technique can do so in this game. The player-controlled buddy has two balloons attached to their back allowing them to fly around. Unfortunately, our flying is hindered by other guys flying on balloons. That's why our goal is to get rid of pests and destroy their balloons so that they fall to the ground and don't occupy our valuable airspace. We must also watch out for storm clouds shooting lightning bolts and a big fish ready to snap at us if we fly too low over the water surface. Fun and addictive game with the possibility of playing with two players. Pure fun.
