Captain America and The Avengers is a beat 'em up game developed and published by Data East in 1991. Experience the adventure with Marvel heroes.

Gameplay

Red Skull has gathered an army of super villains and other henchmen in a plot to take over the world. In addition to fighting generic enemies, players also face Klaw, Living Laser, Whirlwind, Sentinel, Wizard, Grim Reaper, Mandarin, Juggernaut, Ultron, Controller, Crossbones, and finally Red Skull himself. Players can choose one of two Avengers characters: Captain America and Hawkeye. Each character can fight melee and perform a special ranged attack. The game starts with cutscenes showing Mandarin attacking and abducting Iron Man and Vision - explaining why we have only two playable characters.
