Plot

A dark wave of crime has hit St. Canard and S.H.U.S.H. requires the services of the masked crime fighter Darkwing Duck to stop it, as it appears that F.O.W.L. and their valuable operative Steelbeak are behind this uprising. They have hired six of Darkwing's greatest enemies to wreak havoc in various areas throughout St. Canard. Darkwing must defeat each of these criminals to find Steelbeak and save the city.

Description

Darkwing Duck is a dynamic action platformer based on the popular animated series of the same name. The game was released by Capcom in 1992 and takes players to the city of St. Canard, where they assume the role of the mysterious hero - Darkwing Duck.

Gameplay

Darkwing Duck is a platform game with several elements similar to Capcom's Mega Man video game series. The player can choose three different stages at the beginning of the game, and another set of three becomes available later on.

After completing all six stages, Darkwing heads to the floating fortress of F.O.W.L. for his final showdown with Steel Beak. In the game Darkwing Duck, players will visit various locations around the world, such as St. Canard and other places known from the Disney animated series of the same name.
