Game Description
Grand Theft Auto Advance is an open-world action game that takes players to the fictional city of Liberty City, where they assume the role of Mike. The game offers an open world for players to explore the city, complete various missions, and engage in illegal activities.
Gameplay
Players control Mike, who is involved in the criminal underworld of Liberty City. Gameplay involves completing various tasks, from simple thefts to more complex criminal missions. There are many ways to navigate the city, including on foot, by car, motorcycle, and other means of transportation.
Criminal Elements
GTA Advance retains series' characteristic elements such as car thefts, brawls, police chases, and the ability to use firearms. Players can also customize their vehicles and collect various items during gameplay.
Plot
The action of the game takes place in 2000, in the city of Liberty City. The main character of the game, Mike, along with his friend Vinnie, decides to leave the city. However, they lack money for the trip, so they perform a few more tasks for their employers - the mafia. Just before leaving the city, Vinnie is killed in a bombing. Most of the game revolves around Mike's search for Vinnie's killer and his cooperation with various people associated with the city's criminal underworld.
Graphics and Similarities to Other GTAs
Similar to the first games in the series, Grand Theft Auto Advance is a two-dimensional game with three-dimensional elements; most of the game world, vehicles, and characters are depicted in two dimensions, while buildings are in three dimensions. The game also includes many elements from newer games in the series - most weapons, side missions (Vigilante, Paramedic, and others), HUD, and radar, which first appeared in GTA III.
