Game description

Sonic Advance 3 continues the adventures of the blue hedgehog, Sonic, in a world full of fast-paced action, platform challenges, and dangerous enemies. The game was released for the Game Boy Advance console and is the third installment in the Sonic Advance series. The player controls one of five characters simultaneously with the second as a helper; alternatively, a second player can join and each controls their own character. The game was later released for the Wii U's Virtual Console in Japan in May 2016.

Plot

The game Sonic Advance 3 tells the story of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Cream, who are trying to stop Dr. Eggman and his robot Gemerl from building empires on each of the seven fragments into which Eggman has divided the Earth. The gameplay is a fast-paced 2D platformer that takes place across seven zones, each divided into three acts and a boss fight. The game allows one or two players to control any two of the five characters; each of them has different abilities that allow players different access to parts of the levels.
