Super Mario Bros. 3 is one of the most iconic and influential platformer games in the history of video games. Released by Nintendo, the game debuted in Japan in 1988 and quickly gained immense popularity worldwide. It is part of the legendary Super Mario series, and its unique gameplay, creative levels, and distinctive character design have made it a legend in the gaming world.

Third part of the adventures of the Super Mario brothers, more running, jumping, stomping, great levels, beautiful graphics for that time. The possibility to choose levels, return to the completed ones, storing found items - we can use them later. Many new items have been added that we can find/use during gameplay, both during individual levels and within the main map. In addition to standard flowers, mushrooms, or invincibility stars, we have special suits that expand Mario's skills. The frog suit allows us to swim better and jump higher, the super leaf/tanooki suit allows us to glide in the air and reach previously inaccessible places or fly through most of a given stage, another suit allows us to throw hammers. In the game, we can encounter various bosses at the end of important levels. The game itself is divided into thematic worlds, each consisting of several/teen levels. We can discover special items - a hammer with which we can destroy rocks blocking shortcuts on the game map, or a cloud that allows us to bypass a difficult level. This is the most advanced Mario game that was released on the Pegasus/NES. It includes a 2-player mode where we play alternately - every level or every "tempted" life.

Plot of Super Mario Bros 3

The Mushroom Kingdom, the setting of the game, is attacked by the Koopalings, seven children of Bowser. The Koopalings conquer each of the seven kingdoms, stealing the magic wands of the kings and turning them into animals. Mario and Luigi must defeat the Koopalings and retrieve the magic wands to restore the kings to their true forms and save Princess Peach.
