Game Description

Mario Bros. is a classic platform game released by Nintendo in 1983. The game allows players to embody the characters of Mario and Luigi, who fight hordes of enemies and collect coins in the underground.

Gameplay

In Mario Bros. players move across platforms, jumping and bumping their heads against enemies walking on platforms. Enemies flip over, and then you quickly have to run up to them and kick them to finally get rid of them. If you don't do it in time, the enemy will get up and continue to annoy you :) The game also offers a cooperative mode where two players can face challenges together. The goal is to clear the board of enemies and score as many points as possible.

On each level of Mario Bros. there is a "block" that allows you to flip all enemies on the board. Just be careful! The block can only be used a few times, and besides, it raises the currently flipped enemies!

With each level cleared, the difficulty level increases - enemies get faster, some can jump making them harder to hit or avoid. If the game on a certain level drags on, fiery balls start appearing, flying from one side of the level to the other, contact with them is not pleasant. In later stages of Mario Bros. there are even obstacles such as ice puffs that freeze the platforms the heroes slide on.

Every few levels, we receive a bonus level where we collect extra coins within a time limit, which, when collected in sufficient quantity, are converted into extra lives.
