Game Description

Super Mario Bros. Wart's Wonderland is a ROM hack of Super Mario Bros. 2 USA on the NES. Created by Rohbert, it's meant to be a holiday-themed hack for experienced SMB2 players. It's harder than vanilla SMB2 but not as difficult as other SMB2 hacks. Princess and Luigi will have an easier time completing levels, while Toad and Mario will have a bit more trouble. Graphics by BMF54123 and Rohbert.

Super Mario Bros. Wart's Wonderland features 10 levels, all with unique custom sprites themed around Christmas. Here you'll find holiday hats, candy canes, falling snow, cups of hot chocolate, and you might even encounter the Grinch! Each of the 10 levels contains 2 mushroom power-ups and one extra life. Each level has a unique color palette. All levels can be completed with all characters. You start with 9 lives and 5 continues.
