Game Description

Wario's Woods is a unique puzzle game released on the SNES console in 1994. The game combines puzzle and platformer genres. It is a spin-off of the Mario series, where players control Toad in his mission to defeat Wario, who has taken control of the Peaceful Woods. The gameplay involves clearing each level by using bombs to destroy groups of enemies.

Game Plot

Wario's Woods puts players in the role of Toad, a familiar character from the Super Mario Bros. series, who must stop Wario and his wicked plan. Wario has cast a spell on the Mushroom Kingdom, turning its inhabitants into colorful crystals. The player must clear these crystals by arranging them in the correct combinations to release the trapped inhabitants and defeat Wario.

Gameplay

Wario's Woods offers a unique gameplay experience, combining elements of puzzle games and platformers. Players control Toad, sliding columns and rows of crystals to create combinations of at least three matching elements. When the crystals are arranged properly, they will be cleared, and Toad will earn points. The game also offers various bonuses and obstacles, such as enemies sent by Wario or special supportive items.
