Pokémon Stadium 2 online
Game Description
Pokémon Stadium 2 is another installment in the series of games that brings a fresh breeze of strategy to the Nintendo 64 console. In this game, you can pit your Pokémon teams against each other in dynamic battles where strategy and choosing the right attacks play a crucial role. This game features all 251 Pokémon from the first and second generations in full 3D. Like its predecessor, it allows players to transfer and battle their Pokémon from Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal using the Transfer Pak.
Players once again assume the role of Pokémon Trainers and compete in various gameplay modes. In addition to standard one-on-one battles, the game offers various tournament modes where you must compete against opponents of varying difficulty levels. The Story mode has also been expanded, where players must defeat various Pokémon Trainers and achieve a higher rank in the league.
The game utilizes the capabilities of the Transfer Pak card, which allows transferring data of Pokémon from Pokémon Gold, Pokémon Silver, and Pokémon Crystal games on the Game Boy Color console. This means you can transfer your favorite creatures from the handheld console to the big TV screen and face them in 3D.
The game Pokémon Stadium 2 does not have a storyline. Progress in the game can be achieved by winning Cups at the Stadium and completing the Gym Leader Castle. After winning all the Cups and completing the Gym Leader Castle, Mewtwo appears above the Stadium. Defeating Mewtwo unlocks a second round, where the player must again go through the Stadium, Gym Leader Castle, and defeat Mewtwo, ending the game.
Pokémon tournaments take place at the Stadium. You can participate in 4 Cups. Players choose a team composed of 6 Pokémon, in any combination of borrowed Pokémon and Pokémon imported from the Game Boy game. Each round consists of 8 battles of 3-on-3 Pokémon, and the Poké and Prime Cups consist of 4 rounds, named after Poké Balls (Poké Ball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, Master Ball), which must be won to earn the Cup. The player can battle 8 Gym Leaders from Kanto, appearing in Game Boy games, as well as the Elite Four and the Champion (Rival).
The game's graphics are significantly enhanced, allowing you to see your Pokémon in full 3D. All of this makes Pokémon Stadium 2 a perfect complement for owners of Pokémon games on the Game Boy. This game has the ability to use the Nintendo 64 Expansion Pak, but it is not required.
