Game Description

Archon is a unique game that combines elements of chess, strategy, and arcade gameplay. Players control the factions of Light and Darkness, competing for control of the board where the battle takes place. The game draws inspiration from the classic board game but introduces dynamic real-time combat between units. Mages, warriors, and fantastic creatures such as unicorns, dragons, phoenixes, ghosts, and golems will participate in the battle. A very cool game for 2 players.

Gameplay

In Archon, the board consists of 9x9 squares, each containing different units. Each unit represents one of two opposing elements: light or darkness. The goal of the game is to occupy five power points on the board or eliminate all of the opponent's pieces. Achieving either of these goals results in a win. When one piece lands on the same square as an opponent's piece, real-time combat begins on a random arena full of obstacles. There is a possibility that opponents will eliminate each other simultaneously. Battles between units take place in real-time, and players personally control their units in combat. Each unit has unique abilities and statistics - health points, movement speed, strength, attack range, and additional abilities such as flying, which allows them to bypass terrain obstacles.

Multiplayer Mode

The most interesting feature of Archon is the multiplayer mode, which allows two players to compete on a single device. This adds an element of competition and interaction between players, making the game even more exciting.
