Arkanoid Game Description

Arkanoid - a game from the tetris-like series that became a hit in the era of arcade machines and was ported to the NES console. The game offers a modern version of the classic game "Breakout" but with a different approach. It's a peculiar mix of the aforementioned tetris and ping pong. The whole fun revolves around knocking down colored blocks using a paddle-controlled ball. The difficulty lies in the fact that not all blocks break in the same way. There is a selection of those that fall after one shot and their upgrades that require several shots, as well as indestructible blocks. The goal in Arkanoid is, of course, to remove all blocks from the board except for the aforementioned indestructible ones, then we move on to the next stage. However, you have to be careful not to let the ball fall below the platform, as you lose a life then. In the game, we have a multitude of boards characterized by different layouts of blocks, which extends our fun and keeps the player from getting bored. Additionally, we get various power-ups to collect, such as extending our paddle, shooting, or introducing two additional balls into the game.
