Game Description

Duck Tales is a platform game developed and published by Capcom and based on the Disney animated series "DuckTales." It was first released in North America for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1989 and was later ported to the Game Boy in 1990. The plot revolves around Scrooge McDuck, who travels the world collecting treasures while competing against his rival, Flintheart Glomgold, to become the richest duck in the world.

Gameplay

In Duck Tales, players control Scrooge McDuck as he travels the world in search of five legendary treasures to further increase his wealth. Step into Scrooge's shoes and visit the Amazon, the Himalayas, Dracula's Castle in Transylvania, and even the moon base! At the end of each level is a boss who guards one of the main treasures. Scrooge can attack enemies and move using his cane. On land, Scrooge can use his cane to strike to uncover treasures or shoot projectiles like rocks. He can also jump on his cane to reach higher places, bounce off certain traps, and defeat enemies.

Along the way, Scrooge may find diamonds hidden in treasure chests or appearing in certain places to increase his wealth, as well as ice creams that can restore his health. Scrooge will also encounter various characters from the series who fulfill different roles: providing hints, offering useful items, opening access to new areas, or returning to the main base.
