Plot

As Duck Tales 2 begins, Huey runs to his uncle Scrooge McDuck with a torn piece of paper, which is part of a treasure map drawn by Fergus McDuck. Inspired by the discovery of Fergus's hidden treasure, Scrooge embarks on a journey to find the missing pieces, unaware that his archenemy Flintheart Glomgold is also searching for the lost McDuck treasure.

Description

Duck Tales 2 is a platform game developed and published by Capcom. It is the sequel to the original Duck Tales based on the Disney animated series of the same name. It was released on the Nintendo Entertainment System in early 1993.

Gameplay

Similar to its predecessor, DuckTales 2 is non-linear and allows the player to choose and complete all levels in any order. The controls are the same as in the previous game, although pogo jumping is easier to perform. Scrooge can now use his cane to interact with various objects, such as pulling levers, firing cannons, and using springy flowers to cross large gaps.

After completing each of the five main stages, Webby is kidnapped by Glomgold and held for ransom on a pirate ship in the Bermuda Triangle. Scrooge arrives and gives Glomgold the treasures, only to discover that this "Glomgold" is actually a shape-shifting robot named D-1000 programmed to destroy him.

In Duck Tales 2, players will visit various locations around the world, such as Niagara, Bermuda, Mu, Egypt, and Scotland. Each area has its unique treasure guarded by a boss. In the game, you will also encounter many characters known from the Disney animated series of the same name.
