Game Description

Flying Hero on NES/Famicom is an arcade game created by Aicom and published by Epic Sony Record in Japan in 1989. The game consists of extinguishing a series of burning buildings and rescuing all civilians inside.

We control a pair of firefighters who launch a third one using a trampoline. The player can also earn rewards by catching items that fall from the building, although they must always prioritize catching the falling firefighter - dropping him will cost the player a life.

Aicom created a similar game for the Sega Master System the previous year under the name Megumi Rescue. Although there are various differences between the two versions, they have the same goal and are played similarly. Flying Hero was supposed to be released in America by ASCII. This version, renamed Blazebusters, was ultimately canceled.
