Description

Galaxian is a classic arcade shooter released on the NES console in 1984. Take on the role of a spaceship pilot and face an alien invasion attacking Earth.

Mechanics

In Galaxian, players control a spaceship moving in outer space. The goal is to destroy the fleet of alien ships attacking from the top of the screen. The player can shoot at the enemies, who try to shoot down the player's ship or collide with it.

The alien ships move at a fast pace and in formations, requiring players to have skill and quick reactions. Each level introduces increasingly difficult formations of enemies, with more ships and different movement patterns.

Players must choose the right moment to shoot to avoid enemy attacks. Sometimes alien ships can perform agile maneuvers to evade bullets, so precision is key.

Galaxian also offers a scoring system, where players earn points for destroying enemy ships. As the game progresses, additional lives and power-ups can be obtained, increasing the firepower and other abilities of the spaceship.
