Game Description

Kirby’s Adventure 2 is an incredibly sweet hack of Super Mario Bros 1. We embody the character of the well-known pink ball Kirby and must traverse 12 levels.

Storyline

One evening Kirby had a strange dream. He dreamed of very long stairs leading to a door. As soon as the door opened, he stood before a world he had never seen before, stretching as far as the eye could see. As he listened, he heard a quiet voice saying "Welcome to the land of dreams. We have been cursed by Nightmare, who stole the Dream Rod and cast an evil spell. We have been waiting for your arrival. Please, defeat Nightmare and restore the land of dreams to its natural state. Nightmare has placed Meta Knight under his control to guard the Dream Rod, so be careful Kirby!" Kirby must now obtain the Dream Rod and break the curse!

Gameplay

When Kirby entered the world, he lost his ability to copy enemy skills. However, the Dream Rod, with its last remnants of power, gives Kirby the ability to use Dream Halos.

Power-Ups are equivalents to those in Super Mario Bros

• Dream Halo - A halo of pure dream energy, which acts as a shield. It can be powered by found Dream Shard.
• Dream Shard - A fragment of dream energy, allowing the casting of Dream Fire.
• Dream Fire - Fire that can destroy Nightmare creatures.

A Few Words from the Author

It started as a serious hack, but slowly I began to lose interest. So I decided to release only 3 worlds instead of 8. It's a complete rebuild of all GFX, TSA, and the first 12 levels. I hope you enjoy it.
