Description

Robocop 1 is an action game based on the popular 1987 film "RoboCop". The game was released by Data East in 1989 for the NES platform.

Robocop is a beat 'em up / run and gun game developed and released by Data East for arcades in 1988 based on the 1987 film of the same name.

Gameplay

In Robocop 1, the player takes on the role of RoboCop, a half-human, half-robot superhero. The objective of the game is to fight crime and restore order in a futuristic city.

The player will progress through various levels filled with enemies and traps. RoboCop can shoot enemies, dodge bullets, and collect additional bonuses such as ammo and health.

Robocop 1 also offers various sections where the player will control RoboCop in first-person shooting mode to eliminate dangerous targets.

The gameplay is similar to Data East's arcade game Bad Dudes Vs. DragonNinja, released earlier the same year. Robocop incorporates elements from both beat 'em up and run and gun games.
