Game Description

Robocop 2 is another installment of the platform game based on the movie of the same name. It was released by Data East in 1991 for the NES platform.

Gameplay

The player takes on the role of RoboCop, a half-human, half-robotic superhero. The goal of the game is to fight criminals and rid the city of corruption.

During the gameplay, the player will progress through various levels, confronting enemies and solving different puzzles. RoboCop can shoot at enemies, avoid traps, and collect additional bonuses such as ammo or health.

The game also offers boss fight sections and platforming elements that require precise jumps and dodges.

The Game Boy and Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) versions are mainly shoot 'em up games. They differ from the Amiga, Amstrad GX4000, and Commodore 64 versions, which also differ from each other. In addition to side-scrolling platform levels, the Amiga and ZX Spectrum versions include other levels consisting of first-person perspective shooting galleries - an aspect from the original RoboCop 1 game - and a puzzle game where the player must help RoboCop remember memories by arranging the right integrated circuits.
