Game Description

Ultimate Stuntman is a game that combines multiple genres released by Camerica in 1990 for the NES platform. Embodying the character of the mercenary Ultimate Stuntman, we chase Dr. Evil in order to save the young scientist Jenny Aykroud.

Gameplay

The game can be divided into several highly varied stages.

Usually, we start the level behind the wheel of one of several vehicles equipped with firearms. So we have a supercar, a desert buggy, a motorboat, and a hang glider. We must reach the end of the track before time runs out while shooting enemies and avoiding destruction. We observe the action from above.

We have "on-foot" stages combining shooting with platforming, where we observe the action from the side, moving forward like in Contra. We shoot enemies, jump on platforms, and collect keys.

Then there are climbing stages where we help Stuntman reach the top, but beware - we also play the role of a sniper covering our protagonist. Using the crosshair on the screen, we eliminate enemies who hinder our climb.

There is also a section shooting at well-executed bosses who have their own health bar.

After defeating each of the bosses, we must disarm a bomb before it explodes. This section is typically a tile-based logic game containing numbers that must be selected in the correct order. In case of a mistake, you can start over, but with less time.
