Game Description

Bugs Bunny & Taz: Time Busters is a platform game released for the PS1 console in 2000. The game transports players to the colorful and humorous world of Looney Tunes, where two iconic characters - Bugs Bunny and Taz - must cooperate to restore temporal balance.

Game Plot

Daffy Duck, working as the chief vermin controller for 'Jet Age Pest Control', accidentally destroys Granny's time regulator. As a result of this event, Daffy is sent back in time along with the core of the machine, a valuable time gem. The time regulator falls into chaos, causing the transfer of residents from different eras in time and space. The gear wheels, which are essential for the regulator to function, are scattered. Bugs Bunny, arriving at Granny's house, is tasked with finding the time gem, gear wheels, lost characters, and Daffy. In this task, he is assisted by the spinning Taz.

Gameplay

In the game Bugs Bunny & Taz: Time Busters, players can switch between two characters, each with unique abilities. Bugs Bunny is agile and can use various gadgets, while Taz is a powerful spinning tornado, capable of destroying obstacles and enemies. Cooperation between characters is crucial to solving many environmental puzzles and achieving success in the game.

All epochs are accessible from a central hub level called Granwich. After completing an epoch with its levels, players must confront and defeat a boss, as well as collect almost all gear wheels of that epoch to unlock the next epoch.

The goal in Bugs Bunny & Taz: Time Busters is to collect all the scattered gear wheels of the time regulator throughout the levels and progress through all five different epochs. The gameplay is very similar to "Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time," retaining Bugs' skills but introducing new ones for Taz, as well as a cooperative mode where one player can control Bugs and the other Taz; alternatively, the game can be played solo, with the need to switch between controlling Bugs and Taz during gameplay. Both characters must be used to utilize their unique abilities to reach blocked areas and defeat certain enemies.
