Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time online

Game Description

Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time is a platform game released on the PS1 console in 1999. The game transports players to the world of the iconic Looney Tunes cartoons, where they take on the role of the famous Bugs Bunny. Players must survive a series of amazing adventures, solving puzzles and defeating enemies to lift the spell that has transported them to distant times. The game is Bugs Bunny's first 3D adventure.

Plot

Bugs Bunny finds and activates a time machine (mistaking it for a carrot juice dispenser) after he takes a wrong turn in Albuquerque instead of heading to Pismo Beach. He lands in Nowhere, the home of a wizard named Merlin Munroe. Merlin informs Bugs that he's lost in time and must travel through five different eras to collect clock symbols and golden carrots, which will allow him to return to the present. During his journey through different eras, Bugs encounters many classic Looney Tunes characters, such as Daffy Duck and Elmer Fudd.

Gameplay

Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time offers a mix of platforming, puzzles, and combat. Players explore various levels, collect items, solve puzzles, and confront enemies. The game captivates with the diversity of its environments, from prehistoric times to the space age, adding depth and variety to the gameplay.

Bugs Bunny must collect time clocks. To progress through the game, Bugs must complete stages and additional objectives that give him clocks. Stages may also contain clocks for Bugs to collect, as well as golden carrots. If the player reaches a certain threshold of clocks or golden carrots, they will be able to unlock new stages or a new era (serving as a game hub) that becomes accessible via the time machine.

Bugs can kick, jump, pick up items, roll, jump into rabbit holes to move underground, tiptoe to avoid attracting attention from other enemies, climb ropes, and use his rabbit ears as propellers to descend slowly from high places. Bugs can also push some objects to reach inaccessible areas.

While using the time machine, Bugs has access to five different eras (comprising a total of 21 levels) that he can visit. These are the Stone Age, Pirate Years, 1930s, Medieval Period, and Dimension X. Each level has a different number of clock symbols and golden carrots for Bugs to find. There are also regular carrots that Bugs can collect, which serve as his health. Carrots can be collected by finding them scattered throughout the level. He can hold up to 99 carrots.

Enemies in Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time are typically straightforward to defeat. Some can be defeated by kicking or jumping, while others may require Bugs to be chased by an enemy until it runs out of breath, and then he can kick it in the butt. Bugs can also learn special abilities from Merlin as he progresses through the game.
