Game Description

Mega Man X4 is a cult action and platform game, being the fourth installment of the popular Mega Man X series. Released on the PS1 platform, the game develops the characteristic formula of the series.

Game Plot

The action of Mega Man X4 takes place in a world where humans and robots (Reploids) coexist. After a series of mysterious incidents in which Reploids became aggressive, X and Zero, two iconic characters of the series, stand up to fight the mysterious Repliforce Syndicate. The player has the option to choose one of two characters and follow two parallel storylines, which affects the ending of the game.

Gameplay

The gameplay in Mega Man X4 is a classic 2D platformer, where the player completes levels, eliminating enemy units and bosses. Each of the characters - X and Zero - has unique abilities and fighting styles. The game offers an extensive upgrade system, allowing you to acquire new abilities and weapons, introducing elements of strategy into the gameplay.

Choosing X gives us standard gaming experiences, X uses ranged weapons in combat. However, choosing Zero, wielding a sword and fighting in close combat, gives us a breath of fresh air and new gameplay possibilities.
