Game Description

Altered Beast is a beat 'em up game from 1988, developed and produced by Sega. The game is set in ancient Greece and tells the story of a character chosen by Zeus to save his daughter Athena from the ruler of the demonic underworld, Neff. By using power-ups, the player's character can transform into different magical beasts (wolf, dragon, bear, tiger, and golden wolf). It has been ported to several video game consoles and home computers. It was a pack-in game for the Mega Drive when that console launched in 1988.
