Game Description

Cannon Fodder is a unique blend of genres - a strategic war game and a shooter, which has gained immense popularity on multiple platforms, including consoles.

In the game, you play as the commander of a small unit of soldiers who must face various challenges on the battlefield. Your goal is to survive missions, perform various tasks, and also eliminate enemies. The game offers many levels of varying difficulty, making the gameplay challenging and satisfying.

Missions

Cannon Fodder features 24 missions, each consisting of one to six phases. Each mission takes place in one of several locations (jungle, desert, arctic, etc.) and each phase requires completing specific objectives. Typically, these objectives include "kill all enemies" and/or blowing up buildings from which enemies spawn, but sometimes you also have to rescue hostages or do other things.

Cannon Fodder also stands out for its extremely bloody and humorous elements. Players will quickly find out that losing any soldier is not uncommon, giving the game its own character.

Console Versions

The only real issue affecting gameplay is that compared to the PC and Amiga versions, the graphics are slightly less sharp, which sometimes makes it difficult to follow the action. For example, spotting traps, which is already quite difficult on a computer monitor, becomes even harder as they become almost invisible on a television screen.
