Game Description

Eyra, the Crow Maiden is a NEW game released on Sega Genesis/Megadrive in 2022 by Second Dimension. The game was released in both physical and digital form. The great music deserves special attention. You play as a female warrior accompanied by a crow.

Game Plot

You are Eyra, a young priestess-warrior from a barbarian tribe that has been attacked by Infernal Marauder, a malicious warrior lord from a distant land. You must leave the world you know and venture into the dark and unknown lands, accompanied only by your faithful companion - a brave crow trained for battle.

Gameplay

The gameplay in Eyra, the Crow Maiden somewhat resembles the Castlevania series. We move to the right, fighting hordes of skeletons, mages, griffins, snakes, and other monsters, and we will also encounter bosses. Along the way, we collect coins and free prisoners, similar to Metal Slug. Eyra has a health bar so she doesn't die from a single hit. There are also "riding" sections in the game where we ride a tiger.

The game was also released on the NES and SNES platforms. Apart from graphics and music, there are also other minor differences between the editions. The Sega version includes 2 additional levels.
