Game Description

Mega Man: The Sequel Wars - Episode Red is a fan platform game created by Woodfrog. It is a remake of Mega Man 4, 5, and 6 games on Sega Mega Drive, referring to the officially released game Mega Man: The Wily Wars which never received a sequel. The goal is to carefully recreate the classic NES games, giving them a fresh 16-bit look and a changed soundtrack. Episode Red is the first release of the project, containing a full remake of Mega Man 4 game. Besides the original content of the game, many new features have been added to enhance the gameplay for returning players. The game has been fully coded from scratch in C using the SGDK library so it appears as a full ROM rather than a patch to an existing game.
