Game Description

Mega Man: The Wily Wars is a collection of the first three games from the Mega Man series, originally released on the NES console, which have been refreshed and remastered for the Sega Genesis / Sega Mega Drive platform. Players take on the role of Mega Man, the famous hero, who battles Dr. Wily and his army of robots across different worlds.

Gameplay

Players control Mega Man (known as Rockman in Japan) through a series of platform stages that can be completed in any order. At the end of each stage is a boss fight with a Robot Master. The player will acquire the special weapon of that Robot Master, which can then be selected and used throughout the rest of the game. Each game also includes one or more supportive items that help the player reach places that cannot be reached by normal means. Each Master's weapon and support item have limited energy, which can be replenished by collecting items left by defeated enemies.

Mega Man: The Wily Wars also introduces a new challenge mode where players must complete levels from previous Mega Man games without the ability to save the game. This provides an additional challenge for experienced players.
