Game Description

Streets of Rage is a legendary classic side-scrolling beat 'em up, released by Sega for the Sega Genesis/Megadrive console. The game gained recognition as one of the most iconic productions in the 90s beat 'em up genre. Players take on the roles of police heroes fighting evil and crime on the streets of Wood Oak City, using various fighting skills.

The first three games in the series were developed and released by Sega for the Sega Genesis console in the early 90s and have since been ported and re-released on various platforms. The fourth installment of the series was released in 2020.

Game Plot

The game is set in a metropolis where gangs and corruption have taken over the streets. Players control heroes: Axel Stone, Blaze Fielding, or Adam Hunter, who decide to take matters into their own hands and clean up the city from crime. Their task is to defeat gang bosses and their henchmen to restore order on the streets.

Gameplay
