Asterix online
Game Description
Asterix for the SNES is a platform game based on the popular comic book series about the adventures of the indomitable Gauls by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo. Players take on the role of Asterix, a small but incredibly strong Gaul, who must confront the Roman legionnaires' army to rescue the kidnapped Obelix.
Plot
The game is set around 50 B.C. in a small village, which is the only one in all of Gaul that has not yet been conquered by the Romans led by Julius Caesar himself. The small village defends itself thanks to a magic potion prepared by the druid named Panoramix. One day, the biggest strongman Obelix (as a child, he fell into a cauldron with the magic potion) is treacherously kidnapped by the legionnaires and imprisoned in the capital of the empire. The amateur of wild boar is ultimately to end up in a circus arena full of lions. Asterix sets out on a journey without hesitation to save his best friend.
Gameplay
Asterix for the SNES is a classic platform game in which the player traverses various levels, collects items, avoids obstacles, and confronts enemies. Asterix possesses unique abilities, such as powerful punches or throwing peas, which allow him to deal with various challenges. The game also offers sections where Asterix uses the magic potion, gaining superhuman strength and abilities.
Asterix is a typical platformer with very diverse levels. In total, there are twelve stages (not counting side ones, which can be accessed only after collecting the appropriate number of stars). We start in the forest near the village and eventually reach Rome. Along the way, we also visit Helvetia, Spain, and Egypt. Each region differs in the appearance of the environment and has its own melody, so boredom does not accompany us.
