Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie from SNES is an action game based on the popular TV series and movie from the Power Rangers universe. Players take on the role of one of the Power Rangers to save the world from powerful enemies and their plans of conquest.

Fabuła gry

Six thousand years ago, a morphological being known as Ivan Ooze was overthrown by a group of young warriors, led by Zordon. In modern times, Ooze escapes from his egg-like prison, and his goal is to take over the world using his horde of monsters.

Rozgrywka

The gameplay in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie is a typical side-scrolling beat 'em up game, where players control one of the Power Rangers and try to defeat enemies on various levels. Each character has unique abilities and attacks that can be used in combat.

The game focuses on the six Power Rangers: Billy, Kimberly, Tommy (as the White Ranger), and new recruits: Rocky, Adam, and Aisha, who replaced Jason, Zack, and Trini from the previous game. Players start each stage as ordinary people. They can collect lightning-shaped items that fill the "Morphing meter" next to the life meter. When the meter is full, the player can press a button to change into a Power Ranger.

The game consists of seven stages. Players fight Putty Patrol Lord Zedd until they reach the final boss of the stage. The first five bosses are monsters from the second season of the original TV series, while the sixth one is originally created for the game.
