Game description

Prehistorik Man is a classic platformer set in ancient times. The player embodies the character of a prehistoric man named Sam, who embarks on a dangerous journey to save his village from famine. In the middle of the night, greedy dinosaurs steal all the food from the small village and winter is approaching. To achieve this, Sam must collect food, solve puzzles, and face various adversities.

Adventure of Prehistoric Man

During the journey, Sam visits various places, such as caves, forests, and icy boards. He must face not only hunger but also hostile animals and other dangers that await him in the wild prehistory. In total, there are 23 levels to complete, within each of them we must collect all the food. Defeated enemies leave bones which are used as currency in the game. We start with 3 hearts on the life bar. The game has checkpoints scattered throughout the boards called Rees-Tartah - thanks to them we don't have to start the level from scratch if something goes wrong. Sam can jump on enemies, we also have spears or axes at our disposal - unfortunately, we can use them only a limited number of times. We also have a motive of collecting letters which when combined form the word B-O-N-U-S allowing to finish a bonus level where we collect additional bones and food. Sam also has special abilities such as a scream that kills all enemies on the screen or temporary invincibility. We can also find a power-up that permanently increases our health bar.
